According to Waze, Manila has the worst traffic in the world. Filipino drivers spend hours stuck in traffic. It’s inevitable that they get hungry. And when drivers are hungry, they end up doing crazy things on the road. That’s why Snickers wanted to remind them not to drive hungry. When government officials said they couldn’t provide license plates for new cars, drivers were required to make their own by writing down their temporary conduction sticker number instead. This is where the agency found an ideal medium for the campaign’s message.
